Letting the Lord into your heart on the journey

Abraham's Wells

Genesis 24:62 Now Isaac came from the way of Beer Lahai Roi, for he dwelt in the South.

In hebrew  בְּאֵר  לַחַי  רֹאִי    Bĕ’er la-Chay Ro’iy  is the
“well of the Living One seeing me” so let’s break down the words and understand the meaning of the place name.  Names have incredible meaning in scripture and we often overlook searching into names to find nuggets of truth. Continue reading “Letting the Lord into your heart on the journey”

Eagle vision

I saw an Australian Wedge-tailed Eagle (zoological name: Aquila audax – which is latin for Bold Eagle) in a vision while worshipping at Field of Dreams church last night (Tue 2017-05-09).

First, the vision was that of an Wedge-tailed Eagle soaring in the sky riding the winds watching with a sharp eye.
The word ‘audacious’ then came fresh to me which has a latin root audax (bold).

Secondly, I saw a view of Australia from high above and a giant Wedge-tailed Eagle wings outstretched from Cairns to Perth.
The eagle was soaring towards the north-east.

The interpretation of this revelation came in more detail today. Continue reading “Eagle vision”

A word for the Prophets (Targeted Influence)

Introduction

Over the past week since Thursday 2017-04-06 there has been a significant word coming which I believe to be for the prophets in Australia.  It has three aspects and pictures to it which I share below.  I pray this word will encourage the prophets, the prophetic gifts, and challenge you all.

The three things that were shown are:

  • the word Influence
  • a skilled military sniper
  • a very accurate arrow splitting another arrow that had already hit a target (like Robin Hood) and also Zechariah 9:14

Prophetic Vision 2/4/2017 – From: Cherie Love

Prophetic Vision 2/4/2017 – From: Cherie Love [published with permission]

Cherie is a friend who has a significant prophetic gifting.  This was first posted to KFCA and Cherie has given permission to share it publicly.
_____

I sense that there has been a spirit of discouragement come against the Body of Christ this last few weeks, especially against Leaders in the Church. The sort of discouragement that leads to loss of hope and faith.

I saw a picture/vision of many people being stuck in mud. They grew weary trying to escape and some just gave up and laid down while others kept on fighting but grew weaker and weaker. Some would take a few steps and think they were free but they would sink down again in the next mud hole ahead. I could see their despair in their eyes as they cried out to the Father for help.

There were many Blackbirds (Crows) overhead screeching and flying around. They began to dive bomb the people below who were stuck, as they were easy targets, and the birds would fly at their face and peck at their eyes. This whole vision was in black and grey and very dark and dismal. I sensed that the people including Leaders, were looking around at both the deep holes that were appearing and the birds flying and attacking. They were being distracted in their journey by looking at these things.

The new and better covenant – what does it mean?

Why is the new covenant so important to us?  First, lets see what it means to have a new covenant.

Jeremiah 31:31 – “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them”, says the Lord.

This announcement is a key point in the timeline of God and his relation to his people. It is his promise of a new covenant, different from, and much improved, from the covenant made at Mount Sinai. This is the first biblical reference to a new covenant. The passage is quoted in the New Testament, Heb. 8:8-12.

If we look at

Luke 22:20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you”

Jesus declares the new and better covenant. Continue reading “The new and better covenant – what does it mean?”

A time for healing

A healing word

This word has been stirring in my spirit for some time and this is a summary of what I have sensed in the Spirit.

The Lord has been saying it is time for us (His Church) to move forward in greater healing and miracles.
Healing and miracles will flow freely when we have humble, broken, contrite and willing hearts. Continue reading “A time for healing”

Ezra, return from captivity, restoration, and rebuilding. Heart journey

The book of Ezra is a story of return from captivity, a story of restoration, and a story of rebuilding of the temple (rebuilding worship).
It is also a story of repentance, weeping, and giving burnt offerings showing contrition and sorrow for sin.

More than anything else the Lord had called (and is calling) Israel to consecration, i.e. the Lord wanted Israel’s hearts.

So it is the Lord is calling us (His Church) to a deeper consecration, a deeper heart relationship, a more intimate worship to Him. Continue reading “Ezra, return from captivity, restoration, and rebuilding. Heart journey”

Heart matters – more than Wisdom – a prophetic insight into a Godly leader’s heart

King Solomon did NOT ask for wisdom…  He actually asked for an understanding heart to rule his people!!

1 Kings 3:9 Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?
So we find in 1 Kings 3:12 that he Lord gave Solomon a wise and understanding heart because of Solomon’s request for an understanding heart.

Hebrew Roots Movement vs Replacement Theology – where is the truth?

Can I still eat bacon, BBQ pork ribs, prawns and lobster? 🙂

Here are some thoughts I’ve pulled together from the word and various sources.

Most of you know that Replacement Theology claims the Church has replaced Israel in God’s plan due to Israel’s rejection of the Messiah. Where Replacement Theology (also know as continuation theology) claims the only place for Israel is as part of the Church, some in the Hebrew Roots movement assert that the only place for the Church is as part of Israel.

So how do we sort out this mess? Continue reading “Hebrew Roots Movement vs Replacement Theology – where is the truth?”

Overcoming negative ‘D’ words

Negative ‘D’ words: Disappointment, death, destruction, disunity, discombobulation (confusion), distress, doubt, disillusionment, dissatisfaction, discontent.

This is what I sense from the Lord about these words…

First, at a personal level; many believers have been suffering the effects of ‘D’ words, especially in their minds and bodies.

The Lord wants to encourage us to treat the ‘D’ word situations as ‘dry bones’ and to speak/prophesy His life to these situations.  Ref: Ezekiel 37:1-14 (below)
There is a Holy Discontent that the Lord uses to bring us deeper into relationship with Him; and that we would call out to Him as our complete sufficiency. Continue reading “Overcoming negative ‘D’ words”

A word for the year 2017

Audio mp3 download

I shared this Sunday 1/1/2017 at Life Church at the 10am service.

A good friend gave me the single word “Victory” just before Christmas [thanks Richard Brunton].
This really resonated but also raised a big question of: How?
This sat with me for more than a week and became clear on Sunday morning.

This is what I received from Holy Spirit and share with you now.

First, the how is by His Grace (unmerited favour) through Faith (trusting in Him) in His Strength (again just trust Him).
Victory is all about the Lord and what He is doing and for His glory. Continue reading “A word for the year 2017”
